The project to create costumes for the play "S-Quark" at Stas Namin Theater is an exciting and creative task aimed at developing unique and original outfits for the actors. The play "S-Quark" is a combination and collision of musical themes of symphony, vocal outbursts, and plastic etudes, giving birth to an almost cosmological act, simultaneously concise and extraordinarily sharp emotionally. The costumes of the artists should immerse the audience in the atmosphere of the play, convey the character and individuality of each character.
Experienced designers and tailors from our studio were involved in the project to create costumes that are distinguished by originality and quality. The costumes are made with consideration for the requirements of acting, comfort, and practicality, to provide actors with the ability to move freely and showcase their creative potential. The process of creating costumes will be based on the development of concepts and sketches by costume designer Alexander Krivoshapkin. According to Alexander's instructions, we selected fabrics, created textures, and developed costume styles.
The diverse and unique costumes combine elements of futurism, fantasy, and rock. They reflect the style of the play and the individuality of each character. Various techniques and decorative elements such as stitching on fabric, applique, draping, and others were used in creating the costumes to make them visually appealing while meeting the requirements of the stage and director. The result of the project is a collection of unique and beautiful costumes that will serve not only as expressive means for the actors but also as one of the key elements in creating the atmosphere and mood of the play "S-Quark."
